Fresh Air for Business
Fresh Air for Business is a 12-week coaching programme that will motivate staff, and help them to be more focused, productive, creative and better at problem solving – both individually and as a team. The skills that they will learn will enable them to positively respond to circumstances rather than react to them. People who have taken the course are more able to cope with stressful situations and better able to work as a team. Productivity increases are expected to be between 5 and 10%.
The hidden benefits
The skills taught as part of this programme, combined with the process of walking, improve wellness, engagement and output. Being outside and walking is an essential part of this programme; it supports learning and change as well as provides the health benefits of a fun, physical activity. Research shows that walking regularly can dramatically improve a person’s health and encouraging the habit of walking has a distinct effect on the wellness of staff. Staff who are well have fewer absences and are generally happier, which is great for individual and team performance.
